Meet Our Attorneys

Prior to forming this firm, Mr. Hunt was engaged in private practice since 1972 in medium and large law firms in Philadelphia. In addition, he was general counsel for a multi-national New York Stock Exchange listed company in the health care field. Mr. Hunt has had an extensive merger and acquisition, securities law, hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate and commercial lending practice, as well as providing a wide range of general corporate and business advice to public and private companies.

Mr. Kurtas joined the firm of Hunt and Ayres as Of Counsel in 2019.  Prior thereto, and immediately upon his completion of law school, he formed his own law practice, Kurtas Law, and thereafter merged the firm with the oldest law firm in the greater Pottstown area to form the still existing law firm of Prince and Kurtas.  Mr. Kurtas has assisted numerous clients with legal matters from inception through culmination in the civil, criminal, family, juvenile and orphans court divisions, placing him among a very select group of legal practitioners with such a wide breadth of experience.  Kurtas, an Eagle Scout and National Merit Scholar, will serve as the President of the Montgomery Bar Association in 2020, the second youngest to do so in the Association’s 135 year history.
